Unveiling the Manufacturing Process of Cooling Fans

Today, we will mainly introduce the functions of five major machines in the production of cooling fans: the fully automatic winding machine, high-temperature oven testing machine, balancing machine, wave soldering machine, and UV curing machine.

Fully Automatic Winding Machine

It is used to wind wires such as enameled wires around components like the stator in a specific winding method. In the production of cooling fan motors, precise and efficient winding is a key step to ensure the stable performance of the motor. It determines parameters such as the number of turns and the winding method of the motor coil, directly affecting the electromagnetic performance of the motor, such as rotational speed, torque, and power.

High-Temperature Oven Testing Machine

It is mainly used for testing related components or finished products of cooling fans under high-temperature environments. For example, it tests whether the insulation performance of the motor winding remains reliable at high temperatures, and inspects the dimensional stability and mechanical properties of fan housings and other components in high-temperature environments. This ensures that the product can work normally and meet quality standards in high-temperature usage scenarios.

Balancing Machine

It conducts dynamic balance testing and correction on rotating components of cooling fans, such as fan blades. When the fan blades rotate at high speeds, if there is an uneven mass distribution, it will generate vibration and noise, affecting the performance and service life of the fan. The balancing machine detects and adjusts to position the center of gravity of the fan blades reasonably, reducing vibration and noise during rotation.

Wave Soldering Machine

It plays an important role in the circuit board welding process of cooling fans. The printed circuit board with mounted electronic components is passed through the wave soldering equipment, allowing the molten solder to adhere to the solder pads and component pins on the circuit board under the action of the solder wave, achieving electrical connections. It can efficiently and reliably complete the welding of a large number of solder joints.

UV Curing Machine

It is used for curing components fixed or sealed with UV glue. For example, in cooling fans, UV glue may be used to fix some small parts or perform sealing operations. The UV curing machine emits ultraviolet rays, enabling the UV glue to cure quickly in a short time, thus achieving a firm connection and sealing effect.
